ReclaiMe can recover from certain drobos, but it totally depends on the issue. You could always open a support ticket with the infamously lousy Drobo support and they ‘might’ be able to help diagnose the problem. So what do you mean by dead? Think we need a little more info on what exactly is happening/has happened. If the reboot loop is caused by a bad drive, then block-cloning the drive causing the problem and inserting the new one will bring it to life.unless you have my problem (which I won’t get into) then you’re fucked. If dead means your Drobo is stuck in a constant reboot loop, then putting it in read only mode would allow you to power up and migrate your data. If dead means a power supply failure or your Drobo not powering up then migrating your current diskpack to another Drobo will do the trick. It totally depends on what you mean by dead? Since I’ve been through almost every possible scenario with my Drobos, maybe I can help you.
